About Me
My name is Alyssa.
I am a Fine Art Photographer based in New York City and the Hamptons. My approach is taking my love of abstract expressionist and impressionist paintings and translating it into photography.
After a career in the fashion industry for over 23 years, I was laid off.
I had to reinvent myself.
Or better yet, I became myself.
As far back as I can remember I always had a camera in my hand. Taking pictures to capture a moment, preserve history or tell a story.
I am my father’s daughter.
From a very young age I was introduced to art and photography by my father. A businessman who, as a hobby since he was a child, was an artist who painted, drew and took pictures. He passed in 2010, prior to me starting my business but I know he would be so proud of me.

Outside of photography, I am passionate about social justice and am a Co-Chair of a Social Justice Committee in Sag Harbor, NY.
